एवं संयुध्यमानौ तौ जघ्नतुश्चेतरेतरम् । द्वंद्वयुद्धं सुतुमुलं तयोर्जातं महात्मनोः
evaṃ saṃyudhyamānau tau jaghnatuścetaretaram | dvaṃdvayuddhaṃ sutumulaṃ tayorjātaṃ mahātmanoḥ
Ainsi, tandis qu’ils combattaient, tous deux se frappaient l’un l’autre sans relâche ; entre ces deux grands êtres naquit un duel farouche et tumultueux.
