मदनं च तथा दग्ध्वा त्यक्त्वा तं पर्वतं रुषा । हिमवंताभिधं सद्यस्तिरोधानगतोऽभवत्

madanaṃ ca tathā dagdhvā tyaktvā taṃ parvataṃ ruṣā | himavaṃtābhidhaṃ sadyastirodhānagato'bhavat

Après avoir ainsi consumé Madana, et quittant cette montagne dans la colère, il disparut aussitôt, entrant en retrait secret sur la montagne nommée Himavant.
