Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 61

भुजंगभोगांकितसर्वगात्रं पंचाननं सिंहविशालविक्रमम् । कर्पूरगौरे परयान्वितं च स वेद्धुकामो मदनस्तपस्विनम्

bhujaṃgabhogāṃkitasarvagātraṃ paṃcānanaṃ siṃhaviśālavikramam | karpūragaure parayānvitaṃ ca sa veddhukāmo madanastapasvinam

Tout son corps portait l’empreinte des serpents enroulés, il avait cinq visages et une vaillance immense comme celle du lion; blanc comme le camphre et accompagné de la Déesse suprême. Madana, voulant le percer, visa ce Seigneur ascète.
