Transliteration

evamugreṇa tapasā śaṃkarārādhanaṃ satī | cakāra parayā tuṣṭyā śaṃbhoḥ prītyarthameva ca

Translation

Ainsi, par une austérité farouche, Satī rendit un culte à Śaṅkara avec une joie suprême, uniquement afin de plaire à Śambhu.
