तदोवाच महातेजा हिमवान्स्वसुतां प्रति । दुराराध्यः शिवः साक्षात्सर्वदेवनमस्कृतः । त्वया प्राप्तुमशक्यो हि तस्मात्त्वं स्वगृहं व्रज
tadovāca mahātejā himavānsvasutāṃ prati | durārādhyaḥ śivaḥ sākṣātsarvadevanamaskṛtaḥ | tvayā prāptumaśakyo hi tasmāttvaṃ svagṛhaṃ vraja
Alors l’illustre Himavān dit à sa fille : «Śiva est vraiment difficile à apaiser par le culte ; Il est le Seigneur même, honoré par tous les dieux. Tu ne peux l’atteindre si aisément ; retourne donc dans ta demeure».
