devyā gataṃ vai svapiturgṛhaṃ tadā vimṛśya sarvaṃ bhagavānmaheśaḥ | dākṣāyaṇī pitravamānitā satī na yāsyatīti svapuraṃ punarjagau
Lorsque la Déesse fut allée à la maison de son père, le Bienheureux Maheśa considéra toute chose. Concluant que Satī, Dakṣāyaṇī, outragée par son père, ne reviendrait pas, il retourna de nouveau à sa propre demeure.
