Type: kshetra
Listener: Dakṣa
Scene: Dadhīci declares Śiva’s power to invert ill-omens: visualized as dark clouds of apamaṅgala dissolving into radiant light around a trident/third-eye symbol; the yajña fire brightens as if awaiting Śiva’s sanction.
Śiva is the transformer of fate and omen—devotion and right honoring can turn obstacles into blessings.
The teaching arises in the Kanakhala tīrtha narrative, reinforcing that a tīrtha’s fruit is fulfilled through Śiva-sambandha (connection to Śiva).
Implicit: perform rites under Śiva’s sanction—worship/invocation of Triyambaka to secure auspicious completion.
