Type: kshetra
Listener: Frame-audience of the Kedāra narrative
Scene: The devotee requests the third step be placed on her husband’s head, completing the triad; the cosmic ‘three steps’ become a household consecration.
Dharma is fulfilled through surrender and truth; the devotee finds a righteous way to complete what was vowed.
This is embedded in Kedārakhaṇḍa’s Kedāra-kṣetra māhātmya setting; the verse itself centers on vow-fulfillment rather than a separate site-description.
Completion of a promised dāna; the ‘three steps’ are fulfilled by offering bodily ‘space’ (heads) for the Lord’s stride.
