विन्ध्यावलिरुवाच । कस्माद्बद्धो मम पतिर्गरुडेन महात्मना । तत्कथ्यतां महाभाग त्वरन्नेव जनार्द्दन । तदोवाच महातेजा बटुवेषधरो हिः
vindhyāvaliruvāca | kasmādbaddho mama patirgaruḍena mahātmanā | tatkathyatāṃ mahābhāga tvaranneva janārddana | tadovāca mahātejā baṭuveṣadharo hiḥ
Vindhyāvalī dit : «Pourquoi mon époux a-t-il été lié par Garuḍa, l’âme magnanime ? Dis-le-moi vite, ô bienheureux Janārdana.» Alors le Resplendissant, revêtu du déguisement d’un jeune brahmacārin, répondit.
