तथेति मत्वा गुरुणा सहैव राजा सुराणां सहसा जगाम । स्वकार्यकामो हि तथा पुरंदरो ययौ पुरीं संयमिनीं तदानीम्

Transliteration

tatheti matvā guruṇā sahaiva rājā surāṇāṃ sahasā jagāma | svakāryakāmo hi tathā puraṃdaro yayau purīṃ saṃyaminīṃ tadānīm

Translation

Pensant : «Qu’il en soit ainsi», le roi des dieux partit aussitôt avec son Guru. Désireux d’accomplir son dessein, Purandara (Indra) se rendit alors sans délai à Saṃyaminī, la cité de la maîtrise, demeure de Yama.
