Type: kshetra
Scene: Viṣṇu addresses Aditi with calm authority, acknowledging her austerity and declaring his readiness to act in the same manifested form for the gods’ mission.
Tapas and disciplined vow-observance attract divine approval, aligning personal devotion with cosmic restoration (devas’ welfare).
The Kedārakhaṇḍa context frames the teaching; the verse itself focuses on the fruit of austerity rather than a site.
It affirms the efficacy of tapas (austerity) and vrata-discipline as the means to gain the Lord’s pleasure and intervention.
