तव विप्रा महाभाग चरितं परमाद्भुतम् । वर्णयन्ति समा जेषु स्थित्वा कीर्ति च निर्मलाम् । याचकोऽहं च दैत्येंद्र दातुरर्महसि सुव्रत

tava viprā mahābhāga caritaṃ paramādbhutam | varṇayanti samā jeṣu sthitvā kīrti ca nirmalām | yācako'haṃ ca daityeṃdra dāturarmahasi suvrata

«Ô fortuné, ô seigneur à la grande âme : les brāhmaṇas racontent tes actes merveilleusement sublimes, et, en les racontant, ils affermissent dans les assemblées ta renommée sans tache. Moi aussi je suis un suppliant, ô roi des Daityas ; ô toi aux vœux excellents, tu es le refuge et l’appui des donateurs.»
