तेनैव जठरस्थेन कृता मतिरनुत्तमा । कितवेन कृता विप्रा दुर्लभा या मनीषिणाम्
tenaiva jaṭharasthena kṛtā matiranuttamā | kitavena kṛtā viprā durlabhā yā manīṣiṇām
Par lui-même—alors qu’il était encore dans le sein maternel—naquit une résolution sans égale. Ô brāhmaṇas, une telle détermination, fût-elle formée par celui qu’on nomme « joueur/trompeur », est rare même parmi les sages.
