आरण्याच्छतगुणं पुण्यमर्चितं पार्वतं यथा । पार्वताच्चैव लिंगाच्च फलं चायुतसंज्ञितम् । तपोवनाश्रितं लिंगं पूजितं वा महाफलम्
āraṇyācchataguṇaṃ puṇyamarcitaṃ pārvataṃ yathā | pārvatāccaiva liṃgācca phalaṃ cāyutasaṃjñitam | tapovanāśritaṃ liṃgaṃ pūjitaṃ vā mahāphalam
Le liṅga de la montagne, lorsqu’il est honoré selon le rite, possède un mérite cent fois supérieur à celui du liṅga de la forêt; et au-delà du liṅga montagnard, le fruit est proclamé « dix mille fois ». Le liṅga demeurant dans un tapovana, lorsqu’il est adoré, donne un résultat immensément grand.
