Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 189

प्रपंचाभिरता मूढाः शिवभक्तिपरा ह्यपि । न प्राप्नुवंति ते स्थानं परमीशस्यरागिणः

prapaṃcābhiratā mūḍhāḥ śivabhaktiparā hyapi | na prāpnuvaṃti te sthānaṃ paramīśasyarāgiṇaḥ

Les insensés, attachés aux enchevêtrements du monde—même s’ils se disent dévots de Śiva—n’atteignent pas la demeure du Seigneur suprême, car ils demeurent liés par le désir.
