पापमाचरते योषा तेन पापेन नान्यथा । लिप्यंते बहवः पक्षा इति वेदानुशासनम्

pāpamācarate yoṣā tena pāpena nānyathā | lipyaṃte bahavaḥ pakṣā iti vedānuśāsanam

“Une femme qui commet un péché est souillée par ce seul péché et non autrement ; de nombreux 'partis' en sont tachés.” Telle est l'instruction déclarée du Veda.
