Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta) to the Ṛṣis (deduced)
Tirtha: Kedāra (Kedāranātha)
Type: kshetra
Listener: dvijottamāḥ (addressed audience)
Scene: Himalayan Kedāra: pilgrims with Rudrākṣa malas and ash marks stand before the stone temple; mist, snow-peaks, and a solemn Śiva-liṅga focus the scene.
Śiva-bhakti supported by Śaiva observances is declared a direct means to Śiva’s attainment.
The chapter belongs to Kedārakhaṇḍa’s sacred landscape, but the teaching is general Śaiva dharma rather than a single site’s māhātmya.
Wearing Rudrākṣa beads is prescribed, particularly for devotees of Śiva.
