धूमात्परमयोवह्निर्धूमवत्प्रतिभासते । प्रकृत्यंतर्गस्त्वं हि लक्ष्यसे ज्ञानिसंभवः । प्रकृत्यंतर्गतस्त्वं हि मायाव्यक्तिरितीयसे

dhūmātparamayovahnirdhūmavatpratibhāsate | prakṛtyaṃtargastvaṃ hi lakṣyase jñānisaṃbhavaḥ | prakṛtyaṃtargatastvaṃ hi māyāvyaktiritīyase

De même que le feu, bien qu’au-delà de la fumée, peut paraître comme enfumé, ainsi Toi—bien que transcendant Prakṛti—Tu es perçu comme si Tu étais en elle, lorsque la connaissance s’éveille chez les sages. Et lorsqu’on Te voit dans Prakṛti, on Te dit puissance manifestante de Māyā.
