ऋषय ऊचुः । यथा गरं भक्षितं च यथा यज्ञो विनाशितः । दक्षस्य च तथा ब्रूहि परं कौतूहलं हि नः

ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | yathā garaṃ bhakṣitaṃ ca yathā yajño vināśitaḥ | dakṣasya ca tathā brūhi paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi naḥ

Les sages dirent : «Dis-nous comment le poison fut avalé et comment le sacrifice fut détruit ; et dis-nous aussi ce qui advint de Dakṣa. Grande, en vérité, est notre curiosité.»
