Type: kshetra
Scene: Forest-sage Lomaśa speaking to attentive listeners, with a distant vision of snow-peaks and a radiant liṅga-symbolic aura suggesting Śiva’s immeasurable glory.
Śiva’s greatness is inexhaustible—scripture praises Him endlessly, yet no description can fully contain Him.
While the verse is theological, it occurs within Kedārakhaṇḍa, which proceeds to glorify Kedāra’s Śaiva sacred space.
No ritual is prescribed; the focus is on scriptural praise and the boundlessness of Śiva’s māhātmya.
