गृध्रेणेवाऽधुना व्योम्नि तस्माद्गध्रो भव द्रुतम् । अनिच्छंती मदीयेयं सुता बाला तपस्विनी
gṛdhreṇevā'dhunā vyomni tasmādgadhro bhava drutam | anicchaṃtī madīyeyaṃ sutā bālā tapasvinī
«Comme un vautour la porte à présent dans le ciel, deviens donc, sur-le-champ, un vautour ! Cette fille qui est mienne—sans consentement, jeune et vouée à l’ascèse—a été emmenée.»
