Transliteration

bako'tha mitraṃ svaṃ vīkṣya cirakālādupāgatam | mārkaṃḍeyaṃ yayau prītyutkaṃṭhitaḥ sammukhaṃ dvijaiḥ

Translation

Alors Baka, voyant son ami revenu après une longue absence, s’avança avec affection, le cœur impatient, pour accueillir Mārkaṇḍeya avec les brāhmaṇas.
