Type: kshetra
Listener: Bhārata/Pāṇḍava addressee and general audience
Scene: The Devi bestows blessings: a devotee couple receives children symbolically; above, icons of svarga and mokṣa are suggested (celestial ascent and serene liberation). In a later-time vignette, King Vatsarāja offers honors to the Pāṇḍavas at the kṣetra.
Devotion at a sacred site yields both worldly continuity (offspring) and the highest goals (svarga and mokṣa).
The benefits are tied to the Devī’s Dharmāraṇya abode and the Mahīsāgara tīrtha context of the chapter.
The verse mainly states rewards (phalaśruti); the associated practice is Devī worship as described in the surrounding verses.
