कथं धर्मच्छलेनास्मिन्निमज्जेयमसाधुवत् । पितुराज्ञा परो धर्मो ह्यधर्मो मातृरक्षणम्

kathaṃ dharmacchalenāsminnimajjeyamasādhuvat | piturājñā paro dharmo hyadharmo mātṛrakṣaṇam

Comment pourrais-je sombrer dans le mal ici, sous le prétexte du « dharma » ? L'obéissance au père est dite être le devoir suprême ; pourtant, la protection de la mère deviendrait « adharma » si elle était négligée.
