Type: kshetra

Scene: A vast, dark-blue ‘ocean’ with nāga symbolism—Vāsuki as a colossal serpent presence beneath shimmering waters; beyond it, a radiant green-gold land labeled Bhūmi-svarga with flowering groves, hermitages, and luminous atmosphere.
The Purāṇa elevates geography into theology—certain regions are praised as ‘bhūmisvarga’ due to their sanctity.
The regions named Vāsukārṇava and Bhūmisvarga are glorified as sacred zones on the route beyond Kedāra.
No ritual instruction appears; the focus is on naming and praising sacred regions.
