ātmānaṃ pātake viṣṭaṃ śubhāhva cirakārika | evaṃ sa duḥkhitaḥ prāpto gautamo'ciṃtayattadā
«Je me vois plongé dans le péché, ô Cirakārika au nom de bon augure !» Ainsi, Gautama, venu dans la douleur, se mit alors à réfléchir.
