Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 26

एवं संसाध्य नियमान्संयमांश्च विचक्षणः । प्राणायामाय संदध्यान्नान्यथा योगसाधकः

evaṃ saṃsādhya niyamānsaṃyamāṃśca vicakṣaṇaḥ | prāṇāyāmāya saṃdadhyānnānyathā yogasādhakaḥ

Ainsi, après avoir accompli comme il se doit les niyama et les disciplines de maîtrise de soi, le chercheur avisé doit s’appliquer au prāṇāyāma ; pour qui veut accomplir le yoga, il n’est pas d’autre voie.
