Celui qui fréquente de tels pécheurs est atteint de toutes les maladies ; tels sont les cinq grands péchés. Et celui qui prête l’oreille à la calomnie contre les saints naît sourd.
Kamaṭha
Scene: A moral scene: a pilgrim tempted by a group speaking ill of saints; the pilgrim turns away toward a gathering of sādhus, symbolizing the choice of satsaṅga; a subtle motif of covered ears indicates avoiding nindā-śravaṇa.
Company shapes destiny: associating with grave sinners harms one, and entertaining slander of saints damages one’s spiritual and even bodily well-being.
No tīrtha is mentioned; the emphasis is on conduct toward sādhus and moral association.
None; it gives prohibitions/ethical cautions rather than a rite.
