वरं यदि प्रदातासि तदेनं प्रवृणीमहे । आस्माकीनमिदं स्थानं न हि त्याज्यं कथंचन
varaṃ yadi pradātāsi tadenaṃ pravṛṇīmahe | āsmākīnamidaṃ sthānaṃ na hi tyājyaṃ kathaṃcana
Si Tu dois accorder une grâce, voici celle que nous choisissons : que ce lieu qui est le nôtre ne soit jamais abandonné, d’aucune manière.

Scene: Devotees, having praised Sūrya, request a boon: that their sacred place never be abandoned. The scene shows earnest supplication, hands folded, with the deity’s radiance blessing the ground as if ‘anchoring’ presence.
