तस्यां दत्तं हुतं चेष्टं सर्वमेवाक्षयं मतम् । सर्वदारिद्र्यशमनं भास्करप्रीतये मतम्

Transliteration

tasyāṃ dattaṃ hutaṃ ceṣṭaṃ sarvamevākṣayaṃ matam | sarvadāridryaśamanaṃ bhāskaraprītaye matam

Translation

En ce jour, tout don, toute offrande au feu sacré (homa) et tout acte religieux accompli est tenu pour d’un fruit inépuisable. On le considère comme apaisant toute forme de pauvreté, car il est fait pour la joie de Bhāskara (le Soleil).
