Transliteration

ityevaṃvidhavipratvamuktaṃ śrṛṇu yugādayaḥ | navamī kārtike śuklā kṛtādiḥ parikīrtitā

Translation

Ainsi a été décrite l’excellence d’une telle condition brāhmanique. Écoute maintenant au sujet des Yugādi (commencements des âges) : le neuvième jour de la quinzaine claire (śukla) de Kārttika est proclamé comme le début du Kṛta Yuga.
