ये तप्यंते गतैः पापैः शुचयो देवताव्रताः । इह ते पुत्रपौत्रैश्च मोदंतेऽमुत्र चेह च
ye tapyaṃte gataiḥ pāpaiḥ śucayo devatāvratāḥ | iha te putrapautraiśca modaṃte'mutra ceha ca
Ceux qui pratiquent l’ascèse après que leurs péchés ont été effacés—purs et fidèles aux vœux offerts aux divinités—se réjouissent ici avec fils et petits-fils, et se réjouissent aussi dans l’au-delà, là-bas comme ici.
