Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 58

रक्तचंदनधूपाभ्यां रक्तपुष्पैस्तथैव च । अभिशस्तस्य पत्रं च बध्नीयाच्चैव मूर्धनि

raktacaṃdanadhūpābhyāṃ raktapuṣpaistathaiva ca | abhiśastasya patraṃ ca badhnīyāccaiva mūrdhani

Avec du santal rouge et de l’encens, ainsi qu’avec des fleurs rouges, qu’on attache aussi une feuille sur le sommet de la tête de l’accusé ou affligé (abhiśasta).
