Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 37

इष्टिकाभस्मपाषाणकपालास्थीनि वर्जयेत् । तोलयित्वा ततः पूर्वं तस्मात्तमवतारयेत्

iṣṭikābhasmapāṣāṇakapālāsthīni varjayet | tolayitvā tataḥ pūrvaṃ tasmāttamavatārayet

Qu’on évite (comme contrepoids) brique, cendre, pierre, tessons et os. Après avoir d’abord pesé selon la règle, qu’on le fasse ensuite descendre de la balance.
