सत्यं वाच्यं नित्यमैत्रेण भाव्यं कार्यं त्याज्यं नित्यमायासकारि । लोकेऽमुष्मिन्यद्दिनं स्यात्तथास्मिन्नात्मा योगे येजनीयो गभीरैः
satyaṃ vācyaṃ nityamaitreṇa bhāvyaṃ kāryaṃ tyājyaṃ nityamāyāsakāri | loke'muṣminyaddinaṃ syāttathāsminnātmā yoge yejanīyo gabhīraiḥ
Que la vérité soit toujours dite ; qu’on cultive sans cesse une disposition amicale ; et qu’on renonce aux actes qui engendrent constamment peine et agitation. Comme se déroule le jour en ce monde, ainsi se façonne l’autre : aussi les sages doivent-ils vénérer le Soi intérieur par un yoga profond.
