Après avoir accompli l’ācāmana, et en le répétant au besoin, qu’on exécute tous les rites. De même, après un éternuement, après avoir craché, et lorsqu’une chose reste entre les dents, qu’on refasse la purification.
Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta) to the sages
Scene: A disciplined sādhaka seated on kuśa grass near a small water vessel (kamaṇḍalu), performing ācamana with right hand, pausing after a sneeze/spit, then re-purifying before continuing japa.
Dharma is safeguarded by alertness to purity—small lapses are corrected by simple restorative rites.
No tīrtha is mentioned; the focus is practical ritual discipline.
Repeat ācamana whenever impurity is incurred—especially after sneezing, spitting, or dental obstruction.
