न पुनर्मातुरुदरंत्यक्त्वा निर्गच्छते बहिः । ततो मांटिरुपामंत्र्य सामभिस्तमवोचत

na punarmāturudaraṃtyaktvā nirgacchate bahiḥ | tato māṃṭirupāmaṃtrya sāmabhistamavocata

Mais, bien qu’ayant quitté le sein maternel, il ne sortait pas au dehors. Alors Māṃṭi s’approcha et, l’interpellant selon le rite par des chants Sāman, lui adressa la parole.
