एवं मे यद्वृथा नाम जातं तत्सफलं त्वया । कृतं तस्मान्नमस्तुभ्यं द्विजेभ्यश्च नमोनमः

evaṃ me yadvṛthā nāma jātaṃ tatsaphalaṃ tvayā | kṛtaṃ tasmānnamastubhyaṃ dvijebhyaśca namonamaḥ

«Ainsi, tout ce qui, dans ma vie, était devenu “vain”, tu l’as rendu fécond. C’est pourquoi je te salue ; et aux deux-fois-nés (brāhmaṇas), salutations encore et encore.»
