प्रणम्य तीर्थं चलितो महीसागरसंगमम् । वृद्धब्राह्मणरूपेण ततोहं यातवान्नृपम्

praṇamya tīrthaṃ calito mahīsāgarasaṃgamam | vṛddhabrāhmaṇarūpeṇa tatohaṃ yātavānnṛpam

Après m’être prosterné devant le tīrtha, je partis vers la confluence de la terre et de l’océan. Puis, prenant l’apparence d’un brāhmaṇa âgé, j’allai auprès du roi.
