Type: kshetra
Scene: A devotee listens to a Skanda-kathā near a sanctum; the narrator recites while lamps glow, and the listener is shown gaining radiance and auspicious presence.
Sharing sacred narration is itself a dharmic offering; hearing and teaching Purāṇic kathā are both praised as merit-producing.
No single tīrtha is named in this verse; it functions as a general phalaśruti for Skanda-related narration within the Kaumārikā section.
Śravaṇa (listening) and śrāvaṇa (causing others to hear/reciting publicly) are recommended.
