यास्ये चेति कुलं हन्याद्गमने च कुटुम्बकम् । दर्शने च शुभं पाने हन्याद्देहं च मिथ्यया

Transliteration

yāsye ceti kulaṃ hanyādgamane ca kuṭumbakam | darśane ca śubhaṃ pāne hanyāddehaṃ ca mithyayā

Translation

«J’irai»—par une telle fausseté on détruit sa lignée; «j’irai»—par une telle tromperie on nuit à sa maisonnée. «J’ai vu»—on ruine sa bonne fortune; et par le mensonge en buvant (l’eau du kośa), on détruit même son propre corps.
