praṇamya śakrapramukhā guhaṃ vacanamabruvan | abhiṣiktaṃ vinā skanda senāpatimakalmaṣam

Translation

Après s’être prosternés, Indra et les autres dieux dirent à Guha : «Ô Skanda, sans ta consécration (abhiṣeka), tu n’es pas encore établi comme le commandant de l’armée, sans tache ni souillure…»
