Transliteration

bhujaṃgarūpaṃ saṃtyajya babhūvātha mahāsuraḥ | umārūpī chalayituṃ giriśaṃ mūḍhacetanaḥ

Translation

Délaissant la forme de serpent, ce grand asura prit un autre déguisement : il revêtit l’apparence d’Umā pour tromper Giriśa (Śiva), l’esprit égaré.
