ततस्ता विह्वलीभूतास्तेजसा तेन मोहिताः । लज्जया च स्वभर्तॄणां गंगातीरस्थिता रहः
tatastā vihvalībhūtāstejasā tena mohitāḥ | lajjayā ca svabhartṝṇāṃ gaṃgātīrasthitā rahaḥ
Alors elles furent bouleversées, égarées par cet éclat; et, par pudeur devant leurs époux, elles demeurèrent en secret sur la rive de la Gaṅgā.
