येषामेवंविधाबुद्धिरस्माभिः किं कृतं त्विदम् । अथ वा नो न दोषोऽस्ति पशवो हि वयं यतः
yeṣāmevaṃvidhābuddhirasmābhiḥ kiṃ kṛtaṃ tvidam | atha vā no na doṣo'sti paśavo hi vayaṃ yataḥ
Pour ceux dont l’intelligence est de cette sorte, qu’avons-nous donc réellement « fait » ? Ou bien—peut-être ne sommes-nous pas en faute, car après tout nous ne sommes que des bêtes, mues par l’instinct.
