अथाभिमुखमायांतं देवा विनतर्पवभिः । बाणैरनलकल्पाग्रार्विव्यधुस्तारकं प्रति
athābhimukhamāyāṃtaṃ devā vinatarpavabhiḥ | bāṇairanalakalpāgrārvivyadhustārakaṃ prati
Puis, lorsque Tāraka s’avança droit sur eux, les Devas le frappèrent, le transperçant de flèches aux pointes semblables à un feu flamboyant, aiguës et inflexibles comme des pics de montagne abaissés.
