jaghnurnārāyaṇaṃ śeṣā viśikhairmarmabhedibhiḥ | tānyastrāṇi prayuktāni viviśuḥ puruṣottamam

Nārada (continuing context from 20.1)
Scene: Arrows strike Nārāyaṇa’s body at vital points, yet he remains serene; the missiles appear to dissolve into his radiance, suggesting absorption rather than injury.
Even when weapons ‘pierce’ the Lord in narrative form, the Supreme remains unbroken—teaching the invincibility of divine reality beyond appearances.
