Transliteration

sārajijñāsayā tasthāvekāṃguṣṭhaḥ śataṃ samāḥ | tataḥ provāca taṃ divyā vāṇī kātyāyana śrṛṇu

Translation

Désireux de connaître l’essence même, il demeura en équilibre sur un seul orteil durant cent ans. Alors une voix divine lui dit : « Kātyāyana, écoute. »
