स नो रक्षतु गोविंदो भयार्तास्ते जगुः सुराः । सुराणां चिंतितं ज्ञात्वा भगवान्गरुडध्वजः
sa no rakṣatu goviṃdo bhayārtāste jaguḥ surāḥ | surāṇāṃ ciṃtitaṃ jñātvā bhagavāngaruḍadhvajaḥ
«Que Govinda nous protège !»—ainsi crièrent les dieux, tourmentés par la peur. Connaissant ce que les dieux portaient en leur cœur, le Bienheureux, dont l’étendard est Garuḍa, (répondit).
