ततः शशाम वज्रास्त्रं कालनेमिस्ततो रुषा । जीवग्राहं ग्राहयितुमश्विनौ तौ प्रचक्रमे
tataḥ śaśāma vajrāstraṃ kālanemistato ruṣā | jīvagrāhaṃ grāhayitumaśvinau tau pracakrame
Alors l’arme Vajra s’éteignit; et Kālanemi, saisi de colère, entreprit de faire tomber les deux Aśvins dans l’étreinte « saisisseuse de vie », une prise mortelle.
